Storm Cleanup in North Texas: What Goes in a Dumpster

Why does wet storm debris cost more?
Water is heavy, and the landfill scale weighs it along with the debris. Carpet, pad, drywall and insulation that soaked up rain or a roof leak can weigh several times their dry weight. Let it drain before loading and tarp the dumpster when more rain is forecast.

Which size should I book after a storm?
A fence and limb cleanup usually fits a 15-yard dumpster. A roof replacement after hail fits a 20 or 30-yard by squares and layers. Interior water damage across several rooms fits a 20-yard. If you're tearing off a roof and gutting rooms, book the 30-yard or plan a swap.

Should I book early after a storm?
Book as soon as you know you'll need one. After a widespread storm, roofers and homeowners all call at once. Booking by 3 PM gets next-day delivery when we have trucks open, and the dumpster can sit ready for your roofer's start date.

Can I put a damaged refrigerator in the dumpster?
Refrigerators and freezers can go in for $50 each. Empty all spoiled food out first.
Can fallen tree trunks go in?
Cut trunks and limbs to fit flat. Stumps with soil attached are treated like heavy debris and may need a 10 or 15-yard.
